We have just received your registration and deposit for our New Zealand and Australia Program, 01 October - 30 November, 2010. It is fantastic that you have decided to join us and we are delighted to confirm your place on the program and welcome you to Pacific Discovery. Attached is your deposit receipt.

Also attached is the Information Booklet for this program. Please read through this thoroughly, as it contains all pre-departure program information. There is a handy checklist on page 14 to help with your preparation.We will also send you emails prior to departure with any relevant program updates and announcements.

The next important steps in getting ready for your program are....

1. As you already have a passport
   Please check that the expiry date is more than 6 months after the end of your program. If it expires within 6 months of program end, you will need to apply for a new one (see page 15 of the booklet).
2. Arrange your travel insurance - best to do this within 14 days of program registration to receive most benefits - see page 15 of the booklet.
3. Book your flights or travel between your home to Auckland, and return from Sydney - see page 22 of the booklet.
4. Review credit options and decide if you are going to take credit on the program - see page 7 of the booklet.
5. Review the recommended books/movies - see pages 23-25 of the booklet.

Important Note: You will need all of this information above to complete the medical/passport form which must be submitted before July 1, 2010, to enable us to proceed with visa, permit and travel arrangements for your program, www.pacificdiscovery.org/bookings/medical-form.aspx.

I will email you the final payment invoice, for the balance of your program cost (ie. program cost less deposit of $400) shortly - due by July 1..

You are welcome to add yourself to our Pacific Discovery facebook group, as a way of 'meeting' people who have been on our programs, and are going to be on your trip, and become a fan on our official Pacific Discovery facebook page where we post trip updates and news.

As you start thinking more about the program, and getting yourself prepared, make sure you read through all the information in the booklet for your program, and don't hesitate to contact us with any questions. We are available to discuss the program with you or your family at any stage.
